Your Home Buying Process
Meet Your Sales Consultant: We start with a conversation that includes questions to help you select the best floorplan to meet you and your family’s needs.
Choose Your Homesite: We help you choose a homesite that works with the environment and the floorplan you’ve chosen. Reserve your homesite to ensure availability.
Design Your Home: Our design guru, Megan, guides you through our First Impressions Design Studio, helping you choose interior selections that reflect your personal style.
Sales Agreement: Knowing your total investment up front, you complete a sales agreement and supply your deposit to begin building your new home.
Review Your Sales Selections: You have 15 days from the agreement of sale to make any revisions to your new home design selections.
Building Your Home
Pre-Construction Meeting: Your sales consultant introduces you to your project manager. Along with Megan, you confirm selections, review blueprints, and go over the construction process and timeline.
Breaking Ground: A plot plan is created for your home on the homesite you selected. After the site is staked, we dig the foundation for your home.
Framing Walkthrough: Prior to drywall being installed, we walk you through the framing of your new home so you can review everything that goes behind your walls. You review all insulation, HVAC system, and electrical extras to make sure the unique details of your home are in place.
Finishing Your Home: Everything from drywall and paint to trim, tile, and carpeting is finalized. An independent quality control company performs a thorough inspection. Any findings are addressed to make sure your home is picture perfect.
Beyond the Build
Pre-Occupancy Meeting: Meet with your project manager at your new home to review all the operations and aspects of your home. Address any items of your home that need adjusted or corrected.
Final Walkthrough: Review items from your pre-occupancy meeting to confirm completion of work.
The Closing: Complete all mortgage and legal documents to make your home officially yours! Receive the keys to your new home.
45-Day Walkthrough: Inspect your home with the Owners Service Request Form and document any items that may need reviewed.
1-Year Review: Happy anniversary! Your home is one year old! Time to check things over and document any details that need reviewed on your Owners Service Request Form.
