Giving Back This Holiday Season
Community is at the very foundation of what Weaver Homes is about. Not only do we create beautiful and livable communities for individuals and families across the North Pittsburgh area, we are firmly rooted here as a local and family-owned company for the last 30 years. Our team members live here, our kids go to school here, we shop and have fun here, and we want the best for where we live, work, and play.
That’s why we are so committed to helping our neighbors whenever possible. The experience of one affects the experience of many, and we want everyone in our community to have wonderful experiences, no matter their circumstances. In our work throughout the year, we engage with local leaders, sponsorships, schools, and neighbors, partnering with local charities and volunteering to make our townships better for all who live in them.
Inspired Hearts and Hands
This holiday season, we’re so excited to partner with Inspired Hearts and Hands (IH2), a nonprofit organization that provides the “Necessary Extra” to families in the community that are financially and circumstantially disadvantaged. They do this through a series of events and initiatives held throughout the year.
Weaver Homes is thrilled to be part of IH2’s 2021 Holiday Outreach program. For the food drive, we set up donation centers at three of our area communities to collect nonperishable items that families need to create delicious holiday meals. We also participated in the Angel Tree Initiative, which collects gifts for families in need to place under their Christmas trees.
We’re so thankful to be part of the North Pittsburgh community, and we will continue to uplift our neighbors every chance we get.
